Board and Care (RCFE)

A board and care home is a residential facility that provides personalized care, assistance with daily activities, and a home-like environment for older adults who need support.

Room and Board

A room and board is a housing facilities that provides meals and basic assistance in a communal setting for adults who need some support with daily living. Room and boards are not licensed through the state.

Memory Care

A memory care living facility is a specialized residential community that provides structured support, safety, and tailored care for seniors with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.

Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRF)

A Continuing Care Retirement Community offer a range of care levels— from independent living to skilled nursing—allowing seniors to age in place with evolving support as their needs change.
